About SNI 8837-2:2023
SNI 8837-2:2023 is a national standard that sets forth the technical requirements for thin-bed adhesive mortars used specifically for Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) block construction. Derived from ASTM C1660-10 (2018), this standard ensures the durability, adhesion strength, and performance consistency of mortar products in lightweight wall applications.
